Well it’s end of the first quarter and I am finally getting settled in to this game since I was watching the Redskins game earlier.

At the end of the quarter, the Patriots have the lead 7 to 0.

So I was challenged to make my picks, and did so. Out of the 3 games this week in my picks, 2 have been played and I am at 50%.

First we have the Arizona upset. I picked Arizona to win by 5. Many were surprised that the St. Louis Rams ended the undefeated reign by the Cardinals and win. The score in that game was 17 to 3.

Then we have the Atlanta Falcons against the Washington Redskins. A tight game and the Redskin defense was pretty impressive but it wasn’t enough.

I picked the Falcons to win by 7 and they did just that. The final score was 24 to 17, my pick being 100% correct on that.

I just joined this game with 6 mionutes or so left since I was watching Atlantya win over Washington.

The first play I see is Aaron Rodgers get sacked for the fourth time. The next play the Colts do it again for the fifth time.

After not giving any sacks up during the first half it seems as though the Colts defense is certainly penetratinmg the line better in the half.

Current a close game with the Colts up by 1, Green Bay 21 Indianapolis 22.

A second interception in that last 4 minutes of the game by Atlanta they only needed to run out the clock.

As I picked last week here on October 3rd, Atlanta wins the game with Washington.

I picked them to win by 7 and the final score in the game was Atlanta Falcons 24 to the Washington Redskins 17.

This makes my pick for this game 100% on the money.

With the interception made right after the 2 minute break it could be the play that allows Atlanta to hold on to the lead.

The Washington Redskins have the ball at mid field. The are down by one touchdown. Atlanta is up 24 to 17.

The drive ended with a run by a run by michael Turner that ends in the end zone. With the extra point the Falcons now have the lead back by 7.

It’s ironic that the rain is just now starting so we shall see if it has much effect on the last minutes of the game.

Washington Redskins get a sack against Atlanta Falcons

After the first sack of the game against Atlanta, then a failed third down conversion attempt on 3rd and 13 Atlanta is forced to attempt a 53 yard field goal.

Matt Bryant makes it and ties the game back up.

A 77 yard touchdown pass for the Washington Redskins Kirk Cousins delivers the bvall to Santana Moss and the Redskins get the lead back.

It is now 17 Washington to Atlanta”s 14.

A Matt Ryan pass and catch by Julio Jones gives the Atlanta Falcons the first lead in the game against the Washington Redskins. Atlanta up 14 to 10.
