3 and out by the Rams and the Cardinals have another drive.

A nice drive by Kevin Kolb the quarterback for Arizona ends with a sack on a 4th and 1. With just under 2 minutes to play, I think I can safely say that the Rams are certainly taking away the undefeated title away from the Cardinals.

Like I mentioned in a post early this afternoon here, as I researched the Rams more today I found some very impressive play by them. At the time I didn’t think it was enough to win tonight but it does look like I was incorrect about that.

This recent possession by the Cardinals has been the most impressive drive in the game. They finish the drive by not converting on a 4th and goal and give the ball back to the Rams.

It looks like the first of my picks will be shot down tonight. If so this will reduce the list of undefeated teams to 2.

The score is till at 17 to 3 with just over 5 minutes left in the game.

A touchdown by Chris Givens of the Rams just made the Cardinals job more difficult. The score now has the Rams at 17 Cardinals at 3.

Although Arizona has done extremely well in the fourth quarter with a deficit, as strong as the Rams defense has been I question if Kolb can do it again, especially with the way he is getting hammered by so much pressure.

Another missed third down conversion by the Cardinals and they punt it away and it is the Rams ball again.

The Rams defense has been VERY impressive. Time and time again we have seen the pocket completely collapse in on Keven Kolb.

Late in the third quarter Arizona force a turnover and get their first interception. Good play by Patrick Peterson of the Cardinals. Probably a good thing since it was a pass into the end zone.

Well it’s half time and the score is still Rams 10 Cardinals 3.

The Arizona offensive line needs to give Kevin Kolb more protection and a little more time. He has had to deal with a lot of pressure and he has been hammered in many many plays.

It’s not just when he has been sacked, but he has taken quite a few hits on many plays. In fact he had a bloody mouth just before going in for half time.

Late in the half it appears that the Rams defense is getting in to the groove.

A few missed passes, a missed field goal and now the Cardinals really have their work cut out for them.

The first challenge of the game.

This is good move by the Cardinals I believ since it was a pretty close call on whether the pass was a reception or not.

The officials rulle it as an incomplete pass and the call on the field was a completion, so it’s good the Cardinals threw the challeng flag on this one.

This gives the ball back to Arizona.

10:45 remaining in the half and the Rams score again with a 53 yard field goal by Zuerlein.

The Cardinals now really need a good drive to keep themselves in the game where they need to be.

The Cardinal defense does it’s job well once again and shut down the Rams drive and they also had to punt. Incidentally the punt was a good one and the Cardinals will get the ball back at the 14.

Like I an manay analysts predicted this game has had a number of big plays made by each teams defense.
