Carolina Panthers vs Philadelphia Eagles 1st Half week 12
Philadephia Eagles meet the Carolina Panthers in week 12
The Eagles get the first possession of the game and surprise and thrill their fans and have a decent drive and have 3 first downs in 6 plays and are in Panther territory very quickly. They make it to the red zone but then the drive falls apart and they take the field goal and get the 3 points. Score Eagles 3 to Panthers 0.
The Panther drive seems to be going well starting with a few short runs that get the 1st down. On a 1st and 10 a short pass is just short of the first but then a run up the center gets the first, then another short pass and they are in Eagle territory with another 1st down.
A nice pass to Gary Barnidge right down the middle and they are in the end zone and take the lead. The score is Panthers 7 to Eagles 3.
On a second and 10 the Panthers get a sack on quarterback Nick Foles bringing up 3rd and 19. They get decent yards but are short of the 1st so they have to punt. This gives the Panthers good field position on their second drive.
The 1st play by the Panthers is a run by Jonathan Stewart and he gets a first down. A great pass to wide open wide receiver Brandon LaFell and he is in the end zone with another score. This gives them an 11 point lead early in the game. The score is now at 14 Panthers to 3 Eagles.
Philadelphia seems to be putting together another decent drive and do cross into Panther territory. Whether they can continue once they get there and even more important, convert the drive into points remains to be seen. They can’t convert the first down but do take the field goal and take the score to 6 Philadelphia to 14 Carolina.
For the first time in the football game the Eagles manage to shut down a Panther drive and they are forced to punt. After the return the Eagles would have started their drive on the 42 but a penalty for illegal block will knock them back and they start the drive on the 32.
The Eagles give the ball to Bryce Brown and he rounds thje corner to the outside, breaks a tackle and gets into the end zone for the 6 points. Philadelphia takes the risk and tries for the 2 point conversion to tie the score but fails. This takes the score to Eagles 12 to Panthers 14.
Cam Newton is having a really good night and he makes another 20 plus yard pass and gets a first down and they are near mid field.
A incomplete pass on 1st down and then a sack on 2nd brings up a 3rd and 17. They almost get the sack again but Newton manages to salvage the play and make the completion but are a few short of the first and the Panthers have to punt again.
The Eagles get to mid field and get a first down in Panther territory. Carolina breaks uo their next 3rd down play and stops the drive but they are within kicking distance and they make the field goal and the Eagles take the lead. The score is now 15 Philadelphia to 14 Carolina.
The Panthers get the ball back with just over 3 mionutes keft in the half so plenty of time to get down field and get the lead back. At the 2 minute warning it’s 3rd and 7 with the ball on the 23. Newton shows his worth once again on this play since when he gets into trouble instead of letting the drive fail he runs around the outside and gets the first down.
They end up not converting on the drive and the Eagles get another shot. Their drive also stalls out and punt the ball back to the Panthers with 40 plus seconds left in the half. Carolina has all 3 of their time outs left so Newton will have enough time to run a few decent plays providing he can manage the clock well.
They run one play and do not call time and just let the clock run out. I personally think that was a poor decision, they had plenty of time to run 3 or 4 plays and possibly gave up the opportunity to get into field goal range even if they didn’t get the touchdown.
The half time score Panthers 14 to Eagles 15.
New York Giants vs Green Bay Packers 2nd Half week 12
Down by 21 points the Green Bay Packers need to make something happen against New York Giants in the second half in week 12 football game
So far in the 3rd quarter there have been a trade of possessions with neither team developing a drive effective enough to end in a score.
The Packers do not make anything happen and again punt. On the next drive the Giants get the ball into the red zone and get a 1st down inside the 10. NY does get the touchdown on the drive so the Packers will get the ball bacl with about 3 minutes left on the 3rd quarter and the Giants have a lead of 38 to 10.
In order for the Packers to get this game back Aaron Rodgers would have to work some magic, which he is actually capable of doing, but in addition to that the Green Bay defense would have to force at least a few very fast turnovers, which would be VERY hard for them to do without their star line backer Clay Matthews.
At the end of the 3rd quarter the score is still 38 Giants to 10 Packers. Green Bay has the ball on the giants 18 yard line. They do not get the 1st down and go for it on 4th down and do not convert so the Giants take over on downs with the ball on the NY 13.
When you least expect it and it looks as if the drive is starting to fall apart and will not continue, Eli Manning will make a completion and get the first down. this drive is no different and the Giants are controlling the ball well. With this much of a lead it only makes sense for them to continue going to the run game with a good mixture since it has worked well for them in this game.
The NY drive fallas apart and for the first time in the game the Giants do not convert a visit tot he red zone. Green Bay takes over on downs with the ball on their own 5 yard line. With only 4 minutes left in the game NY pretty much has the game won.
The final score in the game is NY Giants 38 to Green Bay Packers 10.
Green Bay Packers vs New York Giants 1st Half week 12
The 1st half of the Green Bay Packers football game against the New York Giants in week 12
The Giants have the ball first in the game. On a 3rd down they run a screen and Ahmad Bradshaw gets the short pass and runs it down to inside the 5. They get the score and the Giants take a very early lead with a score of 7 to 0.
On the first possession for the Packers, they actually manage to get a first down on the ground before quarterback Aaron Rodgers even throws his first pass. On a second down and 4, Rodgers throws a pass to Jordy Nelson and they get the touchdown. In just over 4 minutes we have a football game tied at 7 points each.
On the next drive, NY quarterback Eli Manning attempts a pass on a 3rd and 6 from the 21 but it is incomplete and the Giants will punt for the first time in the game.
A nice run by Randall Cobb around the outside and he gets a first down. On a 3rd and 3 Rodgers needing to by some time steps up in the pocket but is tripped up and doesn’t conver the down. They attempt a 55 yard field goal but it is not good so the Giants will take over at mid field on their own 45.
A good scrampble by Manning on 3rd down and rather than not convert the first, he runs it out and gets the 1st on his own. Then on a 3rd and 5 a pass to tight end Rueben Randle in the end zone gets them the touchdown and the Giants get the lead back with a score 14 to 7.
On the next drive, Rodgers throws an interception which is picked off by Corey Webster. The drive is stopped but NY does manage to get the field goal extending their lead and taking the score to 17 to 7.
As the first quarter ends has the ball on the 13. The score is at 17 Giants to Packers 7. The Packers must punt with nothing happening on the drive.
Great ball movement by the Giants and they get another first down after a gain of 25. The Packers are going to need to start closing up the holes in their coverage and stop the Giants from rounding the corner to the outside which they have pretty effective in the last few drives.
A pass to Victor Cruz gives the Giants another touchdown and they have now pulled ahead with a score of 24 NY to 7 Green Bay.
On a 3rd and 4 a nice short and unexpected pass to the full back John Kuhn they get a 32 yard gain and a first down. They do not get the 1st on a 3rd and short so they deciode to take a 28 yard field goal attempt. They get the 3 points so the score is now 10 green Bay to 24 New York making it a 2 score game.
Green Bay gets the ball back just as the two minute warning comes up so they have just enough time to get down field if they can have a few effective plays. the ball is stripped away from Rodgers and the Giants recover and get the ball on the Packer 23.
The Giants get into the end zone again and NY now has a 21 point lead. With only 44 seconds left in the first half, the Packers will need to play like they did on the first possession to make anything happen. They can’t pull it off and go to the locker room down by 21 points. the score at the half 31 to 21.
New Orleans Saints vs San Francisco 49ers 2nd Half week 12
San Francisco 49er’s 2nd half football game against the New Orleans Saints in week 12
The 49ers have the first possession of the second half. On a 3rd down and 2 a pass to Delanie Walker gets a 1st down and a nice gain of 45 yards. They then get a 1st down on the Saints 6 yard line and get into the end zone on the next play. San Francisco has the lead once again by 7. The score 21 49er’s to 14 Saints.
A decent run back on the punt brings the Saints out to the 30. On the first down San Francisco gets the sack on Drew Brees for an 8 yard loss.
On the next play a pass is tipped in the air and picked off by Donte Whitner which he takes in for a 41 yard return and a touchdown. With the extra point the 49ers jump to a 14 point lead with the score standing at San Francisco 28 to New Orleans 14.
A deep pass and interference call gets the Saints to the San Francisco 10. A short pass to Jed Collins on 3rd and short gives the Saints the touchdown to reduce the 49er lead. The score is now 21 Saints to 28 49ers.
A holding call against San Francisco on what would have been a big play brings it back and then the drive seemed to fizzle with mistakes and losses. On a 3rd and 19 they manage to get 12 of the yards back but end up having to punt.
The latest drive by the Saints fell apart after an offensive pass interference call near the end zone, which would have probably been an interception without the penalty. Then a sack on 3rd and 20 and the saints punt the ball. San Francisco’s gets the ball back on their own 6 yard line.
They get a first down and have the ball on the 23. As the 3rd quarter ends the score is still at 28 to 21 with the 49ers in the lead. San Francisco has the ball on the 30 yard line and its 3rd and 2.
The 49ers are having a good drive and after the 3rd 1st down they manage to get to the Saints 10 yard line but a false start brings them back 5 and its 1st and goal from the 10. Another run by Frank Gore and they are on the 5. Unable to get in on this drive the 49ers take the field goal and a 10 point lead. The score is now at 31 San Francisco to 21 New Orleans.
San Francisco gets another sack on the first play by the Saints brings up a 2nd and 19. It takes a few plays but the Saints have the first down at their own 37 yard line. The 49ers get the sack on 3rd down and it brings up a 4th and 11 and the Saints go for it but do not convert.
The 49ers get the ball back on the Saints 36. San Francisco is unable to convert this drive and attempt a field goal but do not make it. The Saints get the ball back on their own 40. The Saints drive falls apart and the 49ers get it back.
At the two minute warning the 49ers still have possession with the ball just inside the 20 yard line and its 3rd and about 18. They attempt a 33 yard field goal and the Saints manage to block the kick and recover the ball and return it to the 10.
The final score in the game is San Francisco 49ers 31 to New Orleans Saints 21.
San Francisco 49ers vs New Orleans Saints 1st Half week 12
1st half of the New Orleans Saints against the San Francisco 49ers in week 12
New Oleans has the first possession in the game and goes 3 and out and has to punt the football. San Francisco also does nothing on their first drive and must punt. So there has been a trade of possessions with each team going 3 and out.
New Orleans once again goes 3 and out and they punt for the second time. San Francisco will get the ball back on the 38 after the return for their second drive.
On this drive the 49ers are extremely quick to get a few first downs and get into the end zone for the 6 points. This gives San Francisco the early lead at 7 to 0 New Orleans.
With great protection and a great diving catch by Joseph Morgan and the Saints get the first down at the San Francisco 30. 2 plays later they get another first down just inside the red zone. The Saints get their 6 points and tie the game with the extra point at 7 each.
In a nice 2nd and long play, quarterback Colin Kaepernick gets away from a defender and avoids the sack and completes a pass to pick up the first down just as the 1st quarter comes to an end. As the 2nd quarter starts San Francoisco has the ball on the 45 yard line with the score tied at 7.
New Orleans gave provided good coverage on this drive and forces San Francisco to punt. New Orleans will get the ball back. On a 3rd and 3 a neutral zone infraction against the Saints gives San Francisco a 1st down by penalty at their own 32.
A pass, and 1st down, to Jimmy Graham at just before mid field and then a run up the center by Chris Ivory and they are in San Francisco territory. On a 3rd down play that falls apart an intentional grounding penalty causes New Orleans to punt.
Then on the punt return, San Francisco loses the ball and New Orleans recovers so they get it back and have the ball on the 10. New Orleans gets the touchdown with a pass to Marques Colston and they take a 7 point lead. The score is New Orleans 14 to San Francisco 7.
A holding call against San Francisco on what would have been a nice gain with a first down seems to affect them and they are unable to make up the 20 yards and do not convert on 3rd down and must punt. This gives New Orleans another opportunity to extend their lead before the end of the first half.
As the time hits the two minute warning New Orleans has not converted on their first down so they will punt giving San francisco 2 minutes to get down field and tie the score before the half.
A bad snap and then an interception by Patrick Robinson and New Orleans will get the ball back on the 44 with around 40 seconds left on the clock. Then on the second play Drew Brees throws an interception picked off by Ahmad Brooks which he takes in for a touchdown. This makes it a tied game with a half time score of 14 to 14.
Miami Dolphins vs Seattle Seahawks 2nd Half week 12
Tied at half time Miami Dolphins vs Seattle Seahaws in week 12
Miami is the first to possess the ball in the second half but they are unable to convert the first down so they will punt. Seattle will take over at the 20.
Under heavy pressure on a play that looks like it will turn into a sack and the Seahawks get the first down from a pass play. The next play turns into another 1st down and Seattle is having a good drive and has made it into Miami territory.
A very effective drive in fact and they are close to the red zone and the Seahawks are inside the Miami 25 and are well within scoring distance. With a play action pass play completely falling apart, quarterback Russell Wilson keeps the ball and runs for 20 yards and gets a first down inside the 5.
A pass to Michael Robinson and the Seahawks get the touchdown and the lead for the first time in the game. The score is now 14 Seattle to 7 Miami.
A nice run by Ryan Tannehill gives the Dolphins a first down at mid field. And what is likely the first time ever in an NFL football game, the sprinklers come on in the middle of a game wetting down the field. I wonder if the person in charge of turning off the automatic timer will still have a job at the end of the day.
Unable to get much further on the drive Miami punts the ball giving Seattle an opportunity to extend their lead late in the third quarter. They are unable to do so and need to punt again.
Miami manages to get deep within Seahawk territory and then a pass play in the end zone is picked off by Seattle. But a roughing the passer call on defense brings it back and Miami gets a completion on the next play and the Dolphins tie the score. The score is now 14 to 14.
On the punt return by running back Leo Washington, he breaks a tackle and it is smooth sailing and he returns it all the way for a touchdown and the Seahawks regain the lead making the score 21 Seattle to Miami 14.
A great run by Reggie Bush and Miami has a comfirtable first down. Then a few plays later a pass to Charles Clay and it is once again a tied score. Score now stands at 21 to 21 with just over 5 minutes left in the football game.
This next drive is key for both teams since they have each come up with 14 points during the second half. Seattle gets a first down in Miami territory. The ball is on the Miami 41 at the two minute warning and Seattle has possession and it is 2nd and about 11.
Unable to get another first down, Seattle is knocked back for a loss and taken out of field goal range. They attempt to change that on 3rd down but are unable to and will punt. Miami will get the ball back with a little over 1 minute left on the clock and 1 timeout reamining.
Running a no huddle hurry up offense, Miami gets a first down. Then they are charged with an illegal motion penalty for taking the snap and spiking the ball before the line was set. They get another first down on the next play and they are well within scoring distance and still have 1 time out left.
They get another first down on the and stop the clock with the ball inside the 40 and bring on the field goal team with 4 seconds left in the game. Miami makes the 43 yeard field goal and win the game. The final score Miami Dolphins 24 to Seattle Seahawks 21.
Seattle Seahawks vs Miami Dolphins 1st Half week 12
Seattle Seahawks meet the Miami Dolphins in week 12
Seattle is first to get the ball in today’s game. The Dolphin defense is able to stop the drive with a 3 and out so they will get the ball with good field position on the 34 for their first drive.
Miami does get a first down near mid field, but due to the Seahawks defense Miami is unable to effectively do much with it and the drive stalls and they are forced to punt. Another 3 and out for the Seahawks and Miami will get a second shot at the ball.
On the next drive Ryan Tannehill throws and interception so the Seahawks will take over with good field position near mid field. Even though Seattle gets a first down, Miami is able to stop the drive so the Seahawks punt for the third time.
On a 1st and 10 the Seahawks make a big play and sack Tannehill for a 7 yard loss and suddenly Miami finds themselves in a 3rd and 17. They get decent yards on the next play but it is short of the 1st down so Miami must punt again.
Seattle will start their next drive with the ball on the 45. Seattle does manage to get back to mid field but is still short of the first down and the Seahawks have their 4th 3 and out and kick the ball again.
And as the quarter ends once again Miami is unable to do much of anything with their drive and they must punt the ball. And just like the 1st quarter the Seahawks get no where with their first possession of the second quarter and Miami gets the ball back deep in their own territory.
Miami is putting together a much better drive this possession. The drive ends with a Dolphin touchdown from a 21 yard run by Reggie Bush and Miami is the first to put points on the board taking the score to 7 to 0.
As we get to the 2 minute warning in the first half the score is still at Miami 7 to Seattle 0 but the Seahawks have the ball and they too are showing their best drive of the game so far.
A great catch insdie the red zone gives them a first down and it’s a 1st and goal. They manage to get the touchdown and tie up the game. Since there is only 29 seconds left on the clock Miami will not get much of a shot at getting the lead back, unless they have a really great punt return. Miami decides not to test their luck and allows the clock to run out so we have a tied score at the half 7 each.
Arizona Cardinals meet St Louis Rams in week 12
Which team will win the football game between Arizona Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams
In another close game that some of the sportsbooks are not giving up any points this week is the matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams. Taking a look at the odds at lunch time, (only a few hours before the game) the spread at Bet Online is zero points but William Hill has the line at the Cardinals as 1.5 point favorites. Let’s take a quick look at this and whether Arizona can make the spread.
These two are in 3rd and 4th places in the NFC West and both have seen their playoff hopes disappear in recent weeks. Nothing either of them do can change that. The record at St. Louis is 3 wins 6 losses and 1 tie with the record at Arizona is 4 and 6.
Just because they have no hope for any game play after the end of regular season doesn’t mean they aren’t ready to play or to win. I actually think it might be somewhat of an interesting game. I don’t think either one of them wants to walk out of the stadium and not say they didn’t give it their best.
Neither team will want to be known as the team that couldn’t win against their worst rivals in the conference this late in the season. But only one of them can come out of this game as the winner and I think it will be the Cardinals.
Yes Arizona will be playing a rookie quarterback in his first NFL start, but with Kevin Kolb injured and John Skelton on the bench Ryan Lindley might just actually surprise a number of people. As a rookie he may be prone to making mistakes that young passers do, but he has to get experience at some point and this is the perfect game for him to do so.
I think the biggest hurdle that the Cardinals face will be protecting Lindley and giving him the time to find his receivers. They have almost no running game so they will have to depend on him making the completions.
Their defenses are actually pretty closely matched and I think this game will depend a lot on how well either defense does. The Rams will be looking to pick off Lindley but they may find that will be more difficult than originally planned.
While the Rams have possession of the football, they will have to contend with Daryl Washington as well as a number of other defenders and I look for Washington to have a big game today.
I think this game will be decided by the defense, and the amount of mistakes made by either quarterback. Who will throw the least amount of interceptions, which will make fewer mistakes, and how well the defenses can read their opponents.
I am actually picking the Cardinals to win this game by 2 points and I admit that it is quite a stretch.

Will NY Giants meet the point spread against Green Bay Packers week 12
Will New York Giants make the point spread against the Green Bay Packers in week 12?
I will go on record as stating that no matter the outcome of this football game Sunday night, it will be a good one. It has all the makings of an excitement and thrills of a good game before it even starts.
In fact as of Saturday night the odds on this game at the sports betting shops we watch, such as Bet Online and William Hill have the Giants favored to win by 2 and a half to 3 points. (Bet Online 2.5 and Will Hill 3)
Each of these teams is leading their divisions with the Packers at 7 wins and 3 losses and the Giants at 6 and 4. Each of them has a quarterback that time and again has been able to make the plays and get their teams down the field and make those 1st downs when they really needed it.
I have stated many times in my articles here at Football Betting World how much I really enjoy watching great quarterbacks at work, and I think that both of these guys fit that category really well. Both Eli Manning of the Giants and Aaron Rodgers of the Packers can be very explosive and they both do a decent job of working under pressure and both can run no huddle offenses when the chips are down.
But since we have to decide which football team we want to bet on, we need to take a closer look at what we think will happen to help us determine if we want to take the Giants or if we want to bet on Green Bay and take the points.
Personally I am leaning toward the Packers so let me give a few of the reason why. First I think Green Bay is going to win this game. I will be honest, it is a little bit of an emotional pick, but it is fueled by some logic as well.
Make no mistake though, Eli Manning is a great quarterback with an awful lot of talent and he has some really good receivers to go to. Although they are not the only players Manning can throw to, the two biggest weapons he has with his air attack are wide receiver Victor Cruz and tight end Martellus Bennett. Now he has others also, but Green Bay will certainly have to keep an eye on those two to reduce the threat in the secondary.
I might have also added Domenik Hixon to that list but he is out with an ankle injury and will not be playing this week. Obviously we wish him the best and a speedy recovery, but the fact that he is out this week is one less choice of receivers that Manning can look for down field.
It is true that NY has a good offensive line and they protect Manning pretty well, but do not forget about Green Bay’s outside line backers Erik Walden and Nick Perry. Normally I would add Clay Matthews to that list but he is likely out of this game due to a ham string injury. In fact Matthews has 9 sacks this season and 10 assists making the lack of him being on the field a loss that will be felt.
I haven’t even mentioned the Packers’ defensive ends or tackles such as Ryan Pickett and Mike Neal as well as a number of others. Their line has done a decent job on the inside
Plus, the Giants are coming off their bye week. Now some will say that means they had more time to rest, but the other side of that thinking is that it may take them a little longer to get their momentum going too. This first couple of possessions by New York will certainly be the indicator on that.
On the offensive side of the ball is where the Packers will likely shine on Sunday night though. Aaron Rodgers is a seasoned veteran quarterback that has won a number of football games with his agility and fast thinking on his feet.
He has shown time and again that when he is having a good day, he can drive the team down field and has coordinated a number of successful drives even when fans as well as opposing teams had thought they had the game won. He just needs to have a good game.
He is currently hitting his receivers with the completions at just over 67%. That is pretty darn good. And he has a fair amount of guys he can go to with those throws such as Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson, James Jones and more.
Like I said above, this is going to be a great game and is likely one of the better games of the weekend. Both teams want the win badly since they want to hold on to their lead in their divisions. I think the point spread is partially affected by the fact that the Giants beat the Packers last year and squashed their superbowl hopes.
Providing the line can protect Rodgers well, and providing that the loss of Matthews is not too great on their defense, I do think that the Green Bay Packers can and will be victorious over the New York Giants in the week 12 game Sunday night.

Can the Atlanta Falcons make the point spread against Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Will Atlanta Falcons make the point spread against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 12?
This week for our Offsides series, Frank Benjamin and I had decided to do our picks article on the NFC South division leaders the Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. These football teams meet on Sunday afternoon November 25, 2012 at 1:00 PM. The game is at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
Looking at what the line is at the online sports books late Friday night I see that Bet Online and Sportsbetting each have this game at no points. Checking at William Hill, the point spread is at 1 point with the Falcons as the favorite.
Atlanta is currently in the lead in the division at 9 wins and 1 loss. They are also the conference leaders. Tampa is at 6 and 4 and in second place the division.
Atlanta already has their spot in the playoffs and Tampa is not out of it just yet either. In fact depending on the outcome of their next few games they are in a position to possibly end up in the division playoff game. This is certainly incentive on the part of the Buccaneers for wanting to win and Atlanta would like to preserve their winning record although a loss on Sunday would not hurt their playoff spot.
Let’s look at the game and some of the possibilities of what could happen. Looking at the Falcons we see a team that has quite a few wins under their belt for the season. Their offense is current ranked 8th in the league but that ranking doesn’t come from their running game, it is due to their air attack.
The Falcons are ranked 4th for passing and that is because of quarterback Matt Ryan and receivers like Roddy White, Julio Jones and Harry Douglas. And let’s not forget that he can go to his tight end Tony Gonzalez or running back Jacquizz Rodgers as well as a handful of others that have gotten free of their defenders and made the catch and sometimes the big play when needed.
This will be the most difficult thing for the Tampa defense to defend against. This means that corners like Danny Gorrer, E.J. Biggers and others will see a good bit of action. Corner back Leonard Johnson is probable for the game Sunday and with Eric Wright out he will be needed so hopefully he is fully recovered. I also look for Michael Bennett to pull his weight and help out both on the line as well as the backfield.
The entire Tampa defense will have to be on alert since the Falcons can really be deadly in the secondary and although they may blitz some; his offensive line has protected him well this year and he is known for having a fast release and getting the ball to his intended receivers.
On the offensive side of the ball the Buccaneers have been holding their own respectively. They have won their last 4 games and I am sure they are determined to score well against Atlanta this week. The Bucs are ranked 11th in offense and 9th on the ground in the league.
Quarterback Josh Freeman is completing a little less than 60% of his pass attempts overall but when it comes to the short pass, up to 10 yards he is at 64%. Although I am sure he will throw the ball some, I think Tampa will also need to access their running game a fair amount.
We will likely see a good bit of play from running backs Doug Martin, LeGarrette Blount and D.J. Ware. Martin is having a good year and in fact he just hit the 1000 yard mark and I see no reason for him not to do well on Sunday.
Will Atlanta make the spread or will Tampa beat the odds?
If the Tampa offense is able to mix it up well and get some effective passing along with their running game which has been getting them yards against their opponents then I do believe that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers do have what it takes to beat the Atlanta Falcons.
I make no secret of the fact that I often like to pick what many will call an underdog, but picking Tampa this week is a little more than that. Tampa is really on a roll, they are hungry for a win to keep their playoff hopes alive and if they can play like they have in the last few games I think they will hand Atlanta their second loss of the year.
