Regular Season 2012

Regular season games, predicitons, picks and football game recaps during the 2012 regular season.

Tied score Seattle vs San Francisco

This drive by the 49er’s was a lot better than their first. Instead of relying too much on the play action passes, they mixed it up a little more.

I think they need to put the ball on the ground more. Yes the occassional screen or high percentage pass play is ok, but they have been less susccessful with pass plays so far this game. And sure enough the Seahawks break up 2 pass plays back to back and San Francisco has to try for 3.

David Akers makes a 38 yard field goal, so we now have a tied score. 3 to 3.

Seattle early lead over San Francisco

Seattle had a decent first drive also. They were not able to convert a 3rd down once they were in 49er territory so they opt for a filed goal.

Steven Hauschka is able to make a 52 yard field goal so the Seahawks have the lead 3 to 0 over the 49er’s.

San Francisco vs Seattle week 7

San Francisco had the first po\ssession of the game and had a nice drive but were unsuccessful to turn it into points.

They did have a good punt so Seattle gets the deep within their own territory.

San Francisco 49er’s vs Seattle Seahawks week 7

As the Seahawks-49er’s game gets underway I think we can certainly expect to see big plays by the defense of both the 49er’s and the Seahawks. Some believe that San Francisco is one of the best defenses in the league right now. I am not sure I agree with that, but I do think that both of these teams have a defense that are well matched and both sides have a lot of potential to make big plays.

I do think that the Seahawk defense is more effective against the run and I expect to see San Francisco run the ball a lot tonight.

Offensively I believe that Seattle is more settled and can stop the defensive line of the 49er’s more effectively.

Football Betting World Picks in Seattle Seahawks vs San Francisco 49er’s Game

On Thursday October 18, 2012 the Seattle Seahawks play the San Francisco 49ers at Candlestick Park in San Francisco for week 7.

The San Francisco 49er’s are 4 and 2 coming in to this week and Seattle is currently at 4 and 2 also. The Seahawks have not won in the NFC West yet so this is a big game for them.

Russell Wilson, quarterback for Seattle has been improving his numbers the last few games and I think he will continue to raise his completion percentages. I also think that they have a better running game than San Francisco.

And on the defense I see Chris Clemons and Bruce Irvin causing a lot of pressure on Alex Smith, quarterback for the 49er’s.

I think the 49er’s will make sure this game is exciting. Whether they go to the run or in the air, I think the Seattle defense is going to be giving them a hard time.

I look for the Seahawks to take this game by 6. If you want to see the latest odds on the game from Bet Online, just take a look at the matchup tool here. Just select “matchups” under NFL.

Broncos win 35 to 24 against Chargers

Well one of the reasons I will sometimes back an underdog is when I think one can do what the Denver Broncos did tonight.

I wouldn’t have necessarily called the Broncos underdogs anyway, but certainly at the half being down 24 to 0 for the purposes of this discussions they were considered the underdogs of the game at that point. I didn’t exactly predict it would happen but before the half started I mentioned I wanted it to happen here.

Well it doesn’t surprise that Manning did what he did, and I am happy to see it happen and with tonights game as well as some of the other upsets we have seen te past two weeks I think it shows everyone that things can chhange very quickly out on the field.

It was really exciting to see a team come out of the locker room a different team and make things happen in succession like the Broncos did.

Final score Denver 35 to San Diego 24.

Broncos take lead against Chargers

True to form and just what the Broncos needed Phillip Rivers quarterback for the Chjargers throws an interception and Manning gets the ball back.

And Peyton Manning does what he does best and gets the ball to a reciever and they got another touchdown. The score is now denver Broncos 28 to San Diego Cargers 24.

Penalties abound for Broncos against Chargers

Well Manning was put into a must do must convert 3rd down and 1 situation. First they have a false start and then the Broncos get nailed for a holding call and now it is 3rd and 16.

Manning under pressure still converts the third down and they advance the chains.

Under heavy pressure Manning is hitting home on his throws and his team is using every ounce of what is inside of them with second effort and they get into the end zone again. We now have a 3 point game.

Broncos earn chance to shorten point deficit

Well it was time for the Broncos defense to hold the Chargers back or force a turnover. And true to form they do manage to do just that and hold the Chargers to 3 and out.

This is exactly what Manning needs as he gets the ball back with about 2 and a half minutes left in the 3rd quarter. He has plenty of time.

The score is still 4 Chargers to 14 Broncos.

Chargers fumble Broncos score

A failed pass and fumble and the Broncos scoop it up and score. The Denever Broncos have a different game ahead of them now. The score is Denver 14 to San Diego 24.
